Károly Keleti

The name of Károly Keleti has become inseparable from the history of the national official statistics, he is regarded its founder. As an open-minded thinker of European level he was both an excellent theoretical economist and statistician as well as a civil servant and industry policy expert having extraordinary practical common sense and organizing skills.
The HCSO Library has published the biographies of 22 scientists with the selected bibliography of their works.
