Applying changes in gross domestic product (GDP) calculation to quarterly data

The Hungarian Central Statistical Office issued the publication titled “National accounts of Hungary, 2014 (2nd preliminary data)” on 30 September 2015. In this the latest data on national accounts compiled according to the ESA 2010 methodology introduced in September 2014 were disclosed. The methodological changes are available in our above publication.

The time series of quarterly data adjusted to annual figures – in line with the former practice – will be published on our website simultaneously with the first release “Gross domestic product (GDP), 3rd quarter 2015 (flash estimate)”, in the Tables (STADAT) menu item, together with the seasonally adjusted total GDP data.

The detailed seasonally adjusted data will be published on 4 December 2015.
