Statistical Forum for a continuous dialogue

The aim is to create a continuous dialogue between the HCSO and the higher education institutions teaching statistics

In the view of the Hungarian Central Statistical Office (HCSO) cooperation with scientific and educational institutions is of strategic importance, as the common main goals – better understanding and analysis of social, economic and environmental processes as well as statistical education – could be reached in an effective way. For this purpose, the Statistical Forum is put into practice, accompanied by a continuous dialogue, in cooperation with the higher education institutions teaching statistics.

The aim of the Statistical Forum is the continuous strengthening of the professional partnership between the HCSO and the higher education institutions teaching statistics, in order to go on with the discourse - important from educational perspective, too, - regarding scientific research supporting the utilisation of statistical data, leading to beneficial results for both parties.

The cooperation may bring about numerous mutual advantages and results, be it about comprehensive statistical data access, shaping more advanced analytical methods, applying new, innovative technologies, scientific publications, creating educational materials, internship opportunities for students, or even experts’ resupplying.
