New data in Stadat: quarterly account of the rest of the world

We inform our Dear Users that the HCSO publishes for the first time data of the quarterly account of the rest of the world, starting from the reference period of the first quarter of 2011 (calculated backwards to 1999), which will be regularly available among Stadat tables.

The rest of the world account presents the accounting of economic transactions between resident and non-resident units, considering economic events from the aspect of the rest of the world.
The compilation of the quarterly account of the rest of the world takes place in harmony with balance of payments statistics, for which statistics on external trade and data on the compensation of employees, as well as transfers in relation to the European Union are calculated by the HCSO.
By regularly compiling the data of the quarterly account of the rest of the world by the 90th day following the reference quarter we meet domestic needs as well as our obligation to supply data to Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Union.
