20 October 2015, World Statistics Day

Based on the proposal of Hungary, the General Assembly of the UN has adopted in these moments that 20 October 2015 and hereafter the same day in every five years should be the World Statistics Day.

The motto of the World Statistics Day this year is: ‘Better Data. Better lives.’
