This service enables you to be informed about our latest news, announcements, and other new items when they appear on home page.

What is RSS?

RSS is the abbreviation of Really Simple Syndication, which serves to forward the recent news or articles appearing on the website (address, short summary and link) in XML format. The automatically forwarded information can be read by an RSS reading application installed for this purpose on your PC.

How can you use our service?

You can get access to the RSS news service page of HCSO with any kind of RSS reading program. If you are not in possession of such, you can download individual RSS readers from the following addresses:

• RSSOwl - Java based RSS-reader with Hungarian user interface;
• Active Web Reader
• RSS Reader - RSS Reader running under Microsoft. NET;

Plugins also exist which enable you to use the browser or mailing client for reception of RSS news:

• NewsMonster - built-in module for Mozilla and Firefox browsers;
• RSS Popper - RSS reader for the Outlook 2000/XP/2003 mailing programme.

HCSO provides for users the NEWS.

If you raise a claim for our services please add the following addresses to new channels:

You can do this in the File/New/Favourites window of the RSSOwl program, or with a File/Add Feed command in the RSS Reader.

In case of the Publication Repertory you can use this service to be alerted about our publications issued as soon as possible. If you first choose a theme in the left-hand menu, then click on the RSS icon or text placed among the tools on the right-hand side, you will be able to apply for a ’subscription’ only restricted to that theme.
