Short description

In 1993, Eurostat, in cooperation with OECD and IMF, worked out a new nomenclature system for measuring service transactions between residents and non-residents, called EBOPS (Extended Balance of Payments Services Classification).
The classification currently used is based on the 6th edition of the Balance of Payments and International Investment Position Manual.
