Dear Users!
We have introduced a new, simple and easy to use feedback method on our website. You can rate our content using the Was the content useful? button next to each of our publications.
To do this, select any of our publications from the theme selector or the recommendations. On the publication's own data page, in the pop-up window, you can take a few seconds to give us your feedback on what you think about the publication, how useful you find our content and what you would change.
Your comments will be an important starting point to inform our improvements.

Dissemination of European Statistics
after Brexit in statistical publications
On 1 February 2020, a withdrawal agreement entered into force between the EU and the UK (Brexit). Reducing the EU to 27 member states significantly changes aggregated (average, total, etc.) EU data. However, due to the different purposes of use, consideration should be given to the simultaneous communication of old and new aggregates, and the back-calculation of time series to the new composition. Taking all this into account, it is necessary to restructure the publication of EU statistics. The major directions for change.
Statistical yearbooks are freely downloadable
In accordance with user needs, HCSO is expanding again the range of its freely downloadable publications. The previous years’ volumes of national and county yearbooks traditionally published only in printed form so far will be available on our website free of charge after the publication of the latest issues by clicking on the Archives link of the yearbook concerned.
Our first releases
Our first releases are published on the website at 9 a.m. on dates pre-determined in a dissemination calendar. They typically contain business indicators, published monthly or quarterly, and the short analyses based on the latest available data are generally completed by a table set and a chart.
Upon request, the sending of the Excel/Word files of first releases to a given e-mail address – at the same time as the publication of the first release – can be ordered.
What to know about the e-Shelf?
Since the second half of 2013, our Users can view or download electronic publications purchased from HCSO and internet annexes on their own e-Shelf (such publications are indicated with an icon in the Publication Repertory) at any time.
First, our Users will have to register at the e-Shelf of HCSO (menu Publications/eShelf), then, after signing in, they can save the publications and annexes on their own e-Shelf by activating the volume identifiers. Volume identifiers can be found at the beginning of the volumes, on the imprint page or on the cards of electronic publications.
