The surplus of the external trade in goods amounted to EUR 1.2 billion
The value of export was 5.0% lower, that of import decreased by 4.0% in EUR terms in September 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year. The balance of the external trade in goods deteriorated by EUR 187 million. Compared to the previous month, the level of export of goods increased by 15%, its import grew by 7.8%.
In September 2024:
The value of exports amounted to EUR 12.3 billion (HUF 4,870 billion), that of imports to EUR 11.1 billion (HUF 4,383 billion).
The balance of the external trade in goods was EUR 1.2 billion (HUF 487 billion).
The share of EU member states (EU27_2020) was 75% in exports and 71% in imports.
