Investment performance lessened by 15.4% in the 3rd quarter of 2024
The volume of investments lessened, according to raw data, by 15.4% in the 3rd quarter of 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year. Compared with the previous quarter, on the basis of seasonally adjusted data, the value of investments lessened by 2.5% at comparative prices.
According to seasonally adjusted data, investment performance of the national economy fell by 14.9% compared to the same period of the previous year.
Manufacturing, transportation and storage as well as education were the largest contributors to the lessening of investments. The decline was moderated by rising investment activity in real estate activities as well as in the energy industry.
