The surplus of the external trade in goods amounted to EUR 1,5 billion, the level of the external trade in goods decreased by 4.0% on the export side and by 3.0% on the import one, month-on-month.
The value of export was 15% lower, that of import decreased by 20% in EUR terms in March 2024 compared to the same period of the previous year. The balance of the external trade in goods improved by EUR 512 million. Compared to the previous month, the export of goods decreased by 4.0%, their import lessened by 3.0%.
In March 2024:
The value of exports amounted to EUR 12.2 billion (HUF 4,812 billion) and that of imports to EUR 10.7 billion (HUF 4,215 billion).
The balance of the external trade in goods was EUR 1,5 billion (HUF 597 billion).
The share of EU member states (EU27_2020) was 77% in exports and 72% in imports.
